The Ambassador for Saudi Arabia was forcing Ethiopian residents in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to set up a committee that would host a support rally on the premises of the Ethiopian Community Association as political rallies in the Kingdom are prohibited by law.

Community by-laws do not allow such political gatherings, and members of the Association are expressing their opposition to the planned “support rally” because of the killings, detentions and ongoing campaign of terror being carried out by the Meles-Bereket regime.
