Ethiomedia Web Traffic Report

SEATTLE – The surge of Ethiomedai as Ethiopia’s premier news and information source continued unabated with tens of thousands paying homage 24-7. In fact, the number of visitors to Ethiomedia in recent weeks has been twice as many as those who visit Walta, the government financed website which is now vying with the independent Reporter for a second place for most of the week. Facts:

1. Ethiomedia – 60,000 (Opposition)
2. Reporter – 30,000 (Independent)
3. Walta – 30,000 (Government)

The data doesn’t include Ethiopian news search sites like CyberEthiopia whose today’s page viewer number was 35,000, and EthioIndex second at 20,000. For the news websites, web traffic report for July 11 is:

1. Ethiomedia (50,000)

2. Reporter (30,000)
3. Walta (30,000)

The news website Nazret.com was standing fourth at 15,000.
