Kinijit-North America with UEDF and other civic organization has organized a protest rally on February 1st and is calling on all Ethiopians, friends of Ethiopia, and indeed all peace-loving and law abiding citizens in the United States and Canada to participate and make your voice heard.

Ethiopia is at a critical crossroads. Each and every one of us can afford to get away for a day to attend this demonstration to show the US Administration and the world that our people deserve and have indeed earned democracy too. We can’t allow it to be stolen from them in such a brutal fashion when we have the liberty and the ability to stand for them.

We strongly encourage you to join us on this important day. February 1. 2006 is the day that the United States Congress will be back in session.

In coordination, CUD-Boston, has chartered a round-trip bus service to Washington DC. We are confident that this will take the hassle out of the planning for you. In addition, we will get an excellent opportunity to spend time and share perspectives and insight.

Inbound: Bus will leave Washington DC promptly at 5:30 PM on Wednesday February 1, 2006.
