Divisive article

I read an article titled “high time for a strong new party, Jan., 9, 2006, written by Mogus Mochena about forming a new party, Southern Ethiopia Congress (SEC). The article is beautiful but I am concerned about the idea of forming a party based on Southern, Western, Northern Ethiopia. It is an evil idea which began with Meles. It is not time for it, given the current situation of Ethiopia. The idea of southern, western, northern applies to weather forecast only.

I call upon all who read this article that Ethiopia is under tyranny where thousands are now languishing in jail, tortured and killed. Before Mr. Mochena forms his party, I need to know what his dislikes about the existing parties that are bravely facing Meles.
This is not the time to form a party, it is the time to get rid off Meles now with unity. Therefore we need all the support of Ethiopians to unite behind the existing parties that are leading the country in the forefront.

What is southern Ethiopia? Who is going to be Western? Who is going to be central?

I beg Ethiomedia not to post this kind of divisive articles by any body who is not tested and has no background of fighting for democracy in Ethiopia. Please post articles put by tested individuals who have the background, but not based on well written English language. It is important for the credibility and success of Ethiomedia for many years to come to scrutinize each article, the intent and the background of each individual writer.
