ADDIS ABABA – The EPRDF government has now turned its face from teachers to students in Addis. Today 4-6 students allegedly representing the student communities from each school were gathered at the City Hall and being briefed by the EPRDF Cadres. The students selected by the EPRDF cadres have no representation of the students. The so-called representatives were all hand-picked by EPRDF Cadres. All this is taking place without the knowledge of the families or parents of students.
University and high school students have been formidable opponents of the Meles Zenawi regime whose 14 years of stay in power could be ascribed to sheer ruthlessness, spreading fear and terror as well as high-level media manipulation aimed at throwing the nation of over 73 million into confusion.
