Your views have always been sensible and hope-sowing. But this article was like no other for me. I never thought there were other Ethiopians who knew Meles Zenawi this much and in his purest form. There is a saying in German which roughly translates like this: “Tell me where the dog is
buried, and I will tell you where the stench is coming from.” That has always been how I always felt about the person, and you showed us the magnitude of his venom in a concise and extremely well presented dialogue. That person, his cronies, and the poisonous agenda they propagate are the only causes of our misery. God Bless you, dear compatriot Abraha. Even calling the name gives me some sort of inner hope (if you know what I mean). With people like you in the arena, thank God we have undying hope in Ethiopia’s reincarnation.

Dear Abraha,
Thank you for the wonderful and a masterpiece article you wrote on “Tigrai vs Kinijit”, a response to the dialogue you had with Professor Levine. It was indeed, I will say, the “mother of all articles or research papers written to expose the very nature of Meles and his company.” An excellent paper. We are all proud of you.

Greetings Abraha,
I can’t tell you how proud I am of the wonderful analysis you wrote. Believe it or not, it is ground-breaking. Proud to be your friend!
Well, many thanks for your unrelenting effort to promoting justice, peace and liberty in Ethiopia.
God bless your work.

Dear Mr. Abraha,
I just finished reading your excellent analysis entitled ” Tigrai vs Kinijit: A Dialogue with Prof. Donald Levine”. I have no words to express my heartfelt appreciation for your outstanding analysis.
Thank you again and again for exposing Meles Zenawi’s government in reasonable, very clear and understandable way of explainingf all the points you addressed. Hope to learn more and more from your popular web site, ethiomedia.
With very best regards.
Qooraa Jaarsoo
Dear Abraha
Thanks very much for the article! You are indeed the true son of Ethiopia. What our country lacks is usually good friends who can’t see Ethiopians as Ethiopians instead as Amharas, Oromos etc. This masterpiece article will make a big difference to the change of attitude among foreigners who would like to see a fragmented Ethiopia and divided people.
Good tree bears good fruit, what you tell and what you stand for didn’t come from nothing but your root has a lot to do for who you are now then God bless you, your family and your parents.

Dear Abraha Belai:
Thanks for the long and interesting article. We need many more of such articles from concerned Ethiopians. We should not allow Meles at any cost to blackmail the people of Tigray. More work has to be done to educate and reassure people who are already victims of Meles’ propoganda regarding the same.
Keep up the good work.
Yeneneh.
Dear Abraha,
I read your “Tigrai vs Kinijit” dialogue with Professor Levin. You are truly a great Ethiopian. God bless you for what you said and do for our people and country. I also acknowledge the extraordinary efforts of Professor Levine trying to help us overcome the problems in which we presently find ourselves.
That said, I would like to make one point. You said: “…Tigrian communities in Addis are in other words a microcosm of the people of Tigrai region. The vote for Kinijit in Addis would have transpired likewise in Tigrai region.” True.
In my view, the same can also be said about the other Ethiopian communities. In other words, the ordinary Ethiopian does not harbor ethnic hatred and discrimination, but rather believes in equality and freedom and has an uncompromising love for his/her country.
God bless you all. God bless Ethiopia.

Dear my brother Abraha Belai,
I read your “dialogue with Prof. Levine.” I’m really proud of being an Ethiopiawi like you. We will never allow Meles to hijack our Tigrian brothers and sisters.
We are 100% sure that the Tigrai people are not going to side with Meles and negotiate with their Ethiopiawinet.. Melese doesn’t care about Tigrai after all; All he does is isolate them not from their Ethiopian folks but from the other peoples in the region as well. That is why all the true children of Ethiopia like you and Dr Giday Assefa must work day and night to expose the evil motive of Meles. HE will do every thing to destory Ethiopia. But we will stop him before he gets there. THE armed struggle is going on every where, in every corner; but we must do more and bring our Tigrian brothers into our fold. We know many Tigereans have already started armed struggle against meles’s regime. The Tigrai intellectuals must should join AFD and contribute their shares. We must stand together and move wisely. God bless you again.

Kibur Abraha,
Even before I read the response on “Tigrai vs Kinijit”, I was proud of you only because you are the editor of Ethiomedia.com, the most trusted electronic source of information. Your consistent to avoid lies is really appreciated. I’ve seen a lot of editors jumping here and there, mixing up apples with grenades deliberately or accidentally. For whatever reason, you are free of that kind of madness. Thanks brother!

Dear Abraha,
I just got through the article – “Tigrai vs Kinijit.”
I truly lack words to describe how
impressed, touched, and felt vindicated. The article
contains passion, hard facts, compassion and
represents you and your cause, our cause, and the
cause of the Ethiopian people. God bless!

I read your interview with Profesor Donald Levine with consuming interest, completely inspired by your patriotism and depth of knowledge about issues affecting Ethiopia today. You are one outstanding true son of Ethiopia from Tigrai – the cradle of Ethiopian civilization, which the tyrant Meles seeks to undermine.
I congratulate and thank you profoundly for your brilliant performance in the interview, which should serve as educational to its readers.
With my highest esteem for you courage and wisdom,
Robele Ababya
Dear Abraha,
In the article “Tigrai vs Kinijit,” I found my own compatriot and friend that I have known in Abraha Belai.
Thank you for standing tall at this trying time.

Selam Abraha,
I read “Tigrai vs Kinijit.” Exceptional writing! You
should speak up more often. Ethiopia needs people
like you willing to speak the truth.
Thank you so very much.

Dear Abraha,
I and my friends just read the story related to your
“Dialogue with Dr. Levine….” A great message not
only for Dr. Levine but also for some of our
compatriots who find it difficult that TPLF is poles apart with the people of Tigrai.
As always, we are proud of you.
Dear Abraha, you know it , we know it, compared to the
rest of us, your struggle is a double struggle. Your country, your people owe you a lot. God bless you
and your family.
Workie Briye and friends
Abraha,
Well done, brother! You are a great inspiration to many.

Dear brother Abraha:
I read the article with great enthusiasm. And it taught me a great deal of ideas. I have no words to express my admiration of your knowledge of presentation of such complex title. All I want to say is: “Thank you!”

Dear Abraha,
I salute you on your well thought and crisply articulated article that challenges to engage Professor Donald Levine to a dialogue. Of all the things that can be said, allow me to praise your frankness and resolute commitment to stand by your beliefs without the shackles of anonymity. I hope your article would dispel the doubts of many lay and cleric suspicions about the core centrality of Tigrayans to Ethiopia as an historical entity. I am a southerner and was deeply and profoundly angered by that statement of the TPLF acolyte professing “what is the relevance of Aksum as a historical framework for the Gurage, Sidama, Walaita…?” It never wavered my conviction about Ethiopia as my birthmark. Your article articulated my belief that the TPLF clique in power has been the source of mistrust and vilification to the people of Tigray whom our contemporary history and politics manifested as the quintessential elements of the idea and spirit of Ethiopianess, which we the post-Derg generation have embraced and resisted to let go regardless of the distorting campaigns of the powers to be in Addis in various facades in post-1991 period. I hope you would understand our biases and specific social context that indubitably partisan to Ethiopia and Ethiopianess as something we accepted and believed unconditionally, unlike the ’60’s generation of Ethiopia who came to question its very essence and wished in vain to revolutionize it. We respect them but we respectfully disagree with them. The Kinijit spirit has just rekindled that belief and aspiration.
Aklilu A.
Dear Abraha,
What a wonderful account and analysis. We all aspire to seek the elusive truth and still remain close and true to our conscience. You got as close as one gets, especially on such a topic that can easily be misinterpreted. I felt as if you were talking to me, because I never heard a Tigrai-born Ethiopian say what you have said.
You give me hope that, afterall, all is not lost. Thank you for helping me still hang onto the vision that I had as a youngster, when I knew no ethnic boundary to give my life away for a friend.
Yethiopia Amlak Yebarkeh!!

Dear Abraha,
Millions of thanks for your articulate, incisive and penetrating piece of work; Ethiopia will not forget the likes of you. You have truly inherited the spirit and legacy of the beloved Yohannes and Alula. Dear brother, as you know, we are really in the most trying and difficult moment in our recent history. Please do not give up your patriotic work.

Dear Abraha
We are an Ethiopian family living in Chicago. We read
read your article about the dialogue with Prof. Levine, and wanted to say
thank you for being the light and the truth.
It is encouraging to know that we have people like you
who love the truth as it is. This is the only way we
can survive as people. Please know that you are the
best over the ethiopian websites.
Digafe
thank you again
Dear Abraha Belai:
It is about 7 AM here, and I started my day with a cup of good
Ethiopian coffee on one hand and both
eyes on your interview.
What you told Levine was what I expected from you, and I
am very proud of you for being bold, and more importantly for the way you represented
virtually all Ethiopians in your responses; you eloquently expressed
my hope and vision for Ethiopia and her people.
You made my day! God bless!

Dear Editor:
I’d like to to express my appreciation on the way you presented the Ethiopian case. I am not a Tigrean but have Tigrean freinds. I grew up with a family from Adwa. In fact my best buddy was from this family, and we got along beautifully. I believe Meles is not Ethiopian at all. He has all the makings of a Hitler.
I thank you for your honest and clearly argued dialogue. We need more voices like yours from Tigray.
God Bless
Frehiwot G.
Dear Abraha
Thank you for your honesty and courage in this difficult period of our history. It takes guts and commitment to put what our hearts truly know is the truth. I salute you for standing up for truth for Tigrai, and most of all, for Ethiopia.

Dear Abraha Belai
I am more than impressed by your article on Tigrai vs Kinjit. I have no words to describe each impressive point. But I know you have done your best to uncover the wrong individual in order to save the innocent people of Tigrai and all Ethiopians. No wonder your website has been very reputable. Now I know why. It is because of your bright and unbiased mind. Let God use your intelligence for the good of Ethiopia. Keep it up
AE
Dear brother Abraha,
I really would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for all these good things you are doing. With your article “Tigrai vs Kinjit” you helped me once again to see the real view of Ethiopians from Tigrai. I thank you very much!
May God bless you.
