Ethiopians to honor national heroes on September 5 in Washington, DC

WASHINGTON, DC – Ethiopians will on September 5 honor their native country’s fellow compatriots who went down in history as heroes extraordinaire. The honorees include (From Right) Major General Jagama Kello, Major General Amha Desta, Major General Fanta Belai and Captain Mamo Habte-Wold.

The event, whose stage coordinator is renowned activist Tamagne Beyene and other artistes, would be held at Trinity Church on 6000 Georgia Ave., NW, Washington, DC starting at 8:00PM. Entrance fee: $30.00.

The organizing committee consists of the Association of the Former Ethiopian Air Force, Members of the former Ethiopian Army, Concerned Ethiopians and Artistes.
