ANGELINA Jolie has made her first appearance with new daughter Zahara Marley.
The Tombraider star, who has a toddler son Maddox, was snapped in Los Angeles cradling the six-month-old Aids orphan she adopted in Africa.
She was joined by her lover Brad Pitt when she collected the latest addition to her family in Ethiopia earlier this month.
It is rumoured Angelina has moved into the Troy star’s £5.2million Malibu house he bought following his split with Friends star Jennifer Aniston.
The actress was seen leaving Pitt’s home yesterday amid tight security with both children before going shopping in nearby Calabasas. Pitt roared off on his motorbike to a charity event.
Shortly after her arrival in America, Zahara spent six days in hospital with salmonella. A doctor said: “It was clear the love and devotion of her mother helped her recover.”
Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie took her newly adopted daughter Zahara Marley out on one of her very first day trips yesterday (20JUL05) – to a bookstore, according to a report on contactmusic.com.
The girl, interrupted star, who adopted the six-month-old orphan in Ethiopia earlier this month (July 5), took Zahara – whose head was covered in a woolly hat to protect her from the scorching sun – to popular franchise Barnes + Noble in Malibu, California.
Jolie and her new daughter later headed off to collect Jolie’s three-year-old adopted son Maddox from school.
An onlooker says, “Angelina and Zahara already look like mother and daughter. It’s amazing how quickly they both look comfortable with each other.
“And even though they don’t share the same genes, the baby also looks like she’ll grow up to be just as beautiful as her mom.”
Sources say Jolie and her two children have been staying with Brad Pitt in his coastal mansion since returning to California from New York City on Friday
