I met Tigist Lemma Tirfe (aka Miss Tig) about four years ago in Bahrain. She always talked about how she loved to write and sing. She talks so emotionally about her passions, but she doesn’t know where to start and she was short on finances. That’s where I stepped in and tried to help her so she can have that one song and from there I told her I will try to email her song to as many Ethiopian radio stations as I can and hopefully one of them will listen to her song and hope someone may like to meet her.
I am in the United States and she’s in Ethiopia. if I were there, I would probably go to a lot of those radio stations and bring them a cd of the song but I am here in America, Alexandria, VA, to be exact. I told her I am not going to stop helping her because there is nothing better than see someone achieve their dreams, knowing that I can help a little give me great joy. The fact about me, I would like to see everyone reach their potentials in that case hers, especially when that potential is something that will both benefits her and the world(her country).
So I always told her places like Bahrain, Kuwait or any other place where she can just settle for just the common work(jobs) are not the places for her, I told her she needs to pursue her dreams, it might take a while but one day she will get there, that I believe. She has the potential to be great and if I can help her a little why not.

Please listen to it and hopefully you will like it and play it on the station or help her with what she needs to do next to get to start with her music. By the way she is currently in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
