Muslim-Christian Unity flourishing among diaspora Ethiopians

ATLANTA, Georgia – Ethiopian Christians are joined by Ethiopian Muslims in an event that commemorated the founding anniversary of Mahdere Andinet, a radio popular among Ethiopian Americans in the state of Georgia. Solidarity between followers of the two major religions is flourishing in the face of a ruling party and regime that have stocking the flames of sectarian violence. Activist Tamagne Beyene has also addressed the event. His will be presented in a separate program.
